At CQ Psych Services we are committed to providing high quality psychological care. Our aim is to provide the best possible treatment for a range of mental health issues. We work to assist clients in developing skills to manage personal and occupational stress within a setting that is both relaxed and supportive.
CQ Psych Services has been operating in Gladstone since 2018 and has grown significantly since then. We currently have 9 staff members, including provisional, fully registered and clinical Psychologists.
At CQ Psych Services we work with adults, adolescents and children to provide a wide range of services including assessment, treatment and/or management for many psychological and emotional difficulties.
At CQ Psych Services we work with adults, adolescents and children to provide a wide range of services including assessment, treatment and/or management for many psychological and emotional difficulties including: difficulty adjusting to life changes, depression and low mood, anxiety (fear, worry), mood disorders, stress, time management and organisational skills, sleep problems, anger management, relationship issues, parenting issues, self-esteem, loss and bereavement, career planning and much more.
CQ Psych Services accepts self-referrals, medicare, private health insurance, WorkCover, Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS Self-Managed and Plan Managed).
CQ Psych Services can conduct a range of assessments. A psychological assessment is used to gather information in order to answer a particular question about an individual, couple, or group’s psychological functioning. It is the nature of this question that will determine the type of assessment undertaken. Some of the assessments we can conduct are:

You will find Jessica and Emily working out the back making sure the business is running smoothly and advertising our services to the wider community.

CQ Psych Services also sends out free informational newsletters to local schools, GP’s, industries and the wider community. You can find current and past newsletters on our website, under the resources page.
We also run a closed Facebook Group for community members who are experiencing symptoms of anxiety and/or depression. Click HERE to join our amazingly supportive and informative group.
At CQ Psych Services, we raise awareness for multiple events through out the year. This includes R U OK Day, World Health Day, Women’s Health Week, Men’s Health Week, Harmony Day, World Suicide Prevention Day, World Smile Day and many more! CQ Psych Services is also a registered drop off center for the Share the Dignity Drive that donates period products and hygiene items to people escaping domestic violence or experiencing homelessness.
CQ Psych Services donates towards the annual MACE Show n Shine which raises money for disadvantaged children and families in our community (E.g., Childrens Hospital Ward and Care Bags for children in care). We also donate towards the annual Tannum Crab Classic which previously raised much needed funds for local children living with a disability and their families, and have since branched out to support Mind Care, Gladstone regional suicide prevention, Gladstone night watch, Tannum SES, MACE, Doing it for Dolly and Roseberry House Gladstone.
CQ Psych Services has been nominated multiple times for the GCCI Best in Business Award since opening in 2018, and won it in 2020. Suzie has been nominated for her Individual Customer Service as well as Business Leader.
